Biden Is Still the Democrats’ Best Bet for November

"Joe Biden is almost certainly the strongest possible candidate Democrats can field against Donald Trump in 2024."

- Jonathan V. Last

The recent Supreme Court decision to leave an insurrectionist on Colorado's primary ballot just confirmed what many of us already know, the only way to defeat The Donald will be the ballot box. The courts will not do it. Jack Smith and Fani Willis will more than likely have their cases pushed back too far to matter.

It's sad to see likes of David Axelrod and Ezra Klein living up to the moniker of Democratic "bed-wetter" suggesting Biden should call it a day. Especially Ezra suggesting an open Democratic Convention this summer. Seriously? Does 1968 ring any warning bells?

Seth Meyer summed it up perfectly. Part 1 and Part 2

There seems to be amnesia regarding 2020. It wasn't until "Super Tuesday" that year that Joe Biden became the Democratic front-runner despite not having rabid followers like those of Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. Even I voted for Elizabeth Warren on that day. It quickly became apparent that Biden was the one. He seemed like the one all along in retrospect. Least offense and even Donald struggled for a nickname for him. The right-wing media struggled for something to pin on him. The best they could do is go after his last surviving son Hunter Biden and his infamous laptop.

It's essentially an old man who commits gaffes versus Donald Trump who tried to overthrow an election he lost, owes $455 million for fraud, has been indicted 4 times, hugs flags, can't spell his wife's name, stored top secret documents in his bathroom, watched in glee the U.S. Capitol was stormed by insurrectionists and the list goes on. How is this even a contest?

Now the real work begins to win in November.
